Time has flown by so fast. Few more weeks and it will be September. Lots has happened since my last post. My family and I went on vacation to Montana... We had a fabulous time...The pictures above are of Montana, what a beautiful state.... Below are some goodies I found in Montana at a antique store.... That dough bowl is from the 1800, I just love it :)
Last weekend I started my canning. Below is some pictures of that... I made some peach jam, peach butter, hot pepper jelly and apple and maple spread.... Yum, Yum... our rule at our house is we can't open any canned item until Thanksgiving... Have lots more canning to do, its a lot of work but well worth it. Haven't been crafting much lately, but after looking at all the blogs with fall items on there is getting me inspired to start on some fall items... It's been really hot here in the Pacific Northwest lately, but it is starting to cool off....Love the sunshine....

GETTING READY FOR SUMMER TIME, BUT THE WEATHER IS NOT AGREEING ...MY FLOWERS HAVE TAKEN A BEATING BY THE WIND AND THE RAIN IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.. I GOT THIS OLD CHAIR FOR $4 AND THE BIRD CAGE FOR $2... AT THE SAME SALE I GOT THE TRUCKS FROM..... I HIT THE JACK POT OF GARAGE SALES.....

I FOUND THESE 2 TRUNKS AT A GARAGE SALE LAST WEEK, THEY WHERE $5 EA. WHAT A STEAL....I LOVE THEM :)

THIS IS A BOX I FOUND AT THE GW .... PAINTED IT AND PRIMED IT UP A BIT .... THEN DID A LITTLE HOOKED RUG FOR THE FRONT... IAM NEW TO HOOKING, I STRUGGLED WITH THE LETTERS....WELL, THEY SAY PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!!!

UNDER ONE CONDITION WAS MY TERMS!!!! my son made this cabinet for me in woodshop at school.... but the condition was that I can't paint it...... I love painted wood...the men in my house hold don't appreicate
wood that has been painted.... so I will cherish it with out paint... cuz my son made it for me :)

It's been a long time since I have posted, some how time has a way of getting away from you... Seems like there is never enough time to get done all that need to be taken care of...This week I have spent time reflecting on what Easter really means to me....Iam so thankful for GOD'S GRACE...I have been thinking about JESUS death on the cross and the price he paid for all of us...That it is a free gift, all we have to do is accept it!! Praise the lord for his gift of salvation :)

I ran across this chair at a antique shop last weekend... Can you guess what kind of chair it is?????????????????? Ok give up??? It's a vintage prayer chair... you kneel on it facing the back, resting your arms on the top ledge of the chair.... I fell in love with it, so home it came with me....The price wasnt to bad either....$17.oo............

Hello,
I wanted to post some pictures of an old bench my husband's family had when he was a little boy. He brought it home the other day... so of course we primed it up a bit... I wonder of all the stories the bench could tell if it could talk... how many kids sat, stood and jumped off it... how many played with toys on it !!! How many sat there for time outs when they were in trouble....hum I guess I will never know, only wonder.....

Well a closing to another weekend. Busy as always, took a little trip with my son and hubby to some prim shops out of town....I had a great time of course :) I purchased a small braided rug for my room and a hooked rug chair pad. I also did some decor changing in my bedroom. It wasn't quite prim enough for me, so everything i didnt want I posted for sale on craigslist.... hopefully I can get rid of it all....I will post pictures of my bedroom later on this week :) We also got a little yard work done this weekend as the rain held off for another day....We have had beautiful spring weather here in western wa. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend with family and friends.....

I made this penny rug (mat) last week, I have never attempted one before... It was so fun to make........

This shelf I found at the Good will for $12.99... but it didnt look like this....I gave it a face lift with some barn red paint... then I added some bead board to the back.....

What a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest.... The sun is shinning , flowers are popping up , and birds singing..... Its amazing how a little sun can cheer the heart!!! I've had a busy week, running here and there, spending time with friends and family... but I did manage to get in a little crafting in....Does anyone go to Farmers Market???? Do you have a Farmers Market?? where you can go and buy handmade goodies and organic vegies and ect..... I was thinking of selling some prim crafts there, I need to make up my mind soon, or all the spots will be gone. It does take up most of your Saturday's through out the spring and summer...Hum, we will see

Started a new health ( diet ) program... today is my first day....Food has been on my mind all day, hopefully that will pass...grr....

Well it's been a while since I have posted. Last weekend I was out of town at a women's retreat with friends from our church. What a great time I had. It is such a blessing to worship the Lord with lots of women and good friends. This week has flown by with work and keeping the house together. Waiting for spring to arrive, I was outside last week washing my car and the birds were just singing there little hearts out. I love spring time, its a time of newness and life.

I need some help. I have been following your prim blogs out there for about a year. So I decided to open on of my own. But with that being said, Iam not the brightest at figuring it all out. So I was wondering if anyone can help me out???? I dont know how to get my blog out in blog land??? I dont even know if anyone is seeing it??? Some times I wonder if I am just talking to myself..... So if anyone is out there and reading this, could you please leave me a comment on what to do????

Well back to work today, but I did get some yard work done when I came home. Lots of my flowers are poking there little heads out of the ground. I have some prim roses blooming and my bleeding hearts and iris are coming to life, along with the candy tuff...Way early for the plants to come to life around our neck of the woods, but we have had a warm January....Hope Mr. Frost wont show up and give the plants a nip.
